Portion Control
I measured my food this morning. I'm trying to do better with portion control. I ate two pieces of toast as my carb (one hour of energy) with1/3 cup of yogurt with 1/3 cup of low fat cottage cheese for my protein (three hours of energy). I'm satisfied and didn't even eat all my toast. Yahoo!
I feel like I'm getting re-motivated to at least be a little more cautious about what I eat. I also am feeling more of a urge to exercise. Have I acted on that urge? Well, no...but hey, at least I'm feeling it!
I have been far away from blog world for so long that I feel like all my blog buddies are long gone. Hopefully I'll reconnect with you all. Even though I've only just started writing daily again I can totally feel it helping already.

Belly Troubles
The stomach issues continue. It seems each time I eat, I bloat out and have indigestion, bloating, flatus, and sometimes even hiccups. I hate it.
I did go to my doctor awhile ago and he though as I've gained all the weight back (and all that weight went directly to the belly region), now when I eat anything and fill my stomach, it makes my stomach protrude making me feel uncomfortable and well....gross. He didn't have much advice about the bloating, but did give me some probiotics to try and from there I'm now taking the ones that I bought at the health food store for a crazy $45.00 a bottle! Lets hope I don't have to keep taking those suckers for ever.
It makes me not want to eat anything, if I'm going to feel like this all the time. Oh wait...maybe I should be thankful! Could this be my cure? All jokes aside I am losing my interest in food. I'm tired of most of it, if you can imagine that. All those trigger foods are no longer. My doctor was right, if you allow yourself to have those trigger foods and have them daily, one day you will not want them anymore. I was a sceptic for sure, but I got to tell ya, it's worked. I've turned down McDonalds, Pizza, I don't even really like french fries anymore. For anyone who has been reading my blog for sometime knows that I ate way too much take-out before. I had an addiction for sure. It's great to be free from it's hold! Chocolate I still have occasionally, sweets I still seem to crave, but their losing their hold slowly.
Regardless though, these belly issues continue. My friend has recommended that I try this cleanse. I think I might try it. It's called Cleanse Smart . It's suppose to be fantastic, so I'm thinking what do I have to lose?

January Update!
Happy New Year Everyone! (if anyone out there still reads this, that is).
I hope your holidays were fantastic and that Santa treated you well!
I'm not a huge believer in resolutions, but I do hope that as this year folds out that I become happier and healthier. My plan for the year is that I just want to start taking care of myself in all aspects of my life.Health, Financial, Love etc....
Health
I'm still cooking out of the WW cookbooks. I'm enjoying experimenting for sure and real food is so nice for a change. I'm still tired of Fast-food which is great! I don't even crave it anymore!
I have been having some major gastric issues lately though, that I wish I didn't. Bloating, Gas, discomfort oh it's horrible. I'm now taking probiotics twice a day and gastric enzymes when I eat. It sort of helps, but not really. I think I've finally pinned down the problem though. I think I'm lactose intolerant. I had mac and cheese tonight (made with three cheeses) and MY GOODNESS I thought I was going to die! I have heard of lactate tablets though and plan to try those and see if it helps because I can't go on like this. I hope it helps, because it would be a crying shame to have to give up dairy. I love it too darn much.
I've been attempting to read blogs that I use to and have realized that I am not the only one that has not been blogging as they use to. Some pages have even been removed. This strangly provides me with comfort. To know I'm not the only one out there that hasn't been a good blogger and continues to struggle makes me feel less of a failure. I'm going to attempt to keep this blog up though and even though my focus has gone away from actual weight loss, I still do want to eat better and start to excercise and feel better about myself as a whole. It might not be as exciting to read about, but I know blogging my journey will help me.
Financially
I went and checked out a house the other day as the price was CHEAP as it was in forcloser. I've been wanting to buy a place for awhile now, but the prices here are still high. Well this house wasn't the diamond in the rough I thought it might have been. Total dump! lol... Oh well...the search continues. For now my credit cards are away (big deal for this girl) and I'm going to attempt to continue save, save, save. This way I can hopefully get an even better house in the future and with the market falling, I might be able to get a great deal too!
Love
LOL....not quite sure about this one yet.
